Producer
WQAD News 8 is located in Moline, Illinois and covers all news happening in the Quad Cities metropolitan area. During my time there, I was the producer of Good Morning Quad Cities, our most popular show. Through this opportunity, I learned to be very efficient with my time and to write compact, yet high-quality scripts that helped inform our viewers about their community.
Producer, Multi-Media Journalist
Good Morning Illini is a morning news and lifestyle show. I was a producer for the show in Fall 2020 and was part of a initiative to bring the show back to its roots. Through my producer role, I helped bring legitimacy back to the show and cover strong, but important topics, such as suicide awareness and mental health.
Digital Intern (Illinois Newsroom)
Illinois Public Media is the NPR- and PBS- affiliate station in Urbana, Illinois. I worked on the online publication Illinois Newsroom. I managed their Facebook and Twitter account and produced stories and radio cut/copies.
Multimedia Journalist, Producer
UI7 News is the flagship news show for UI7. The show features midday and evening news and covers the Champaign-Urbana area. Newsbreak is a previous 15-minute show, designed as a brief news update.

Just Chillin' is a podcast created by my girlfriend and I where we talk about whatever comes to mind. We tell some stories, talk about the news, etc.
Features Intern
The News-Gazette is the main source of news in east-central Illinois. Working during the summer of 2019, I worked on breaking news and feature pieces.
Daytime News Editor, Reporter
The Daily Illini is a student-run newspaper on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. I was a daytime editor, which meant that I managed breaking news and lead reporters to work together to complete stories.
